Sabareesh Kumar (Saab) is a Chartered Physiotherapist based in Dublin, Ireland. He graduated from The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, in 2005.
Saab has worked in many hospitals, sports clinics, Rehabilitation centres and private practice in Ireland and India, as well as gaining extensive experience assessing and treating patients. Saab regularly attends postgraduate courses to ensure he is up to date with the latest developments in physiotherapy.
Over the past fifteen years, Sabareesh Kumar has treated many patients with injuries; His passion is to use technology and evidence-based practice for treating people with various conditions.
It’s Saab’s mission to help people find solutions to their problems and get them back into living a life that they enjoy. Saab is a fully insured member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, CORU & MIAP. He has been involved in managing various conditions, including orthopaedic, neurological, postural and sports injuries.
Saab has treated many patients for sports injuries, recovery after surgery, recovery after fracture, tendinopathy, chronic conditions and exercise rehabilitation. He is especially skilled in manual therapy and enjoys prescribing targeted stretching and strengthening programmes for his patients.
Saab has a keen interest in treating general musculoskeletal problems, including back and neck conditions, and likes to look at the alignment and movement patterns of the whole body in diagnosing and treating.
Saab is qualified in Dry needling. This combination of physiotherapy and dry needling is very effective in treating painful musculoskeletal problems.
In addition, Saab is a certified Pilates instructor and teaches Clinical Pilates on a one to one level and in a class setting.
He is also having a special interest in Cancer rehabilitation, Elderly Care & Postnatal issues.
Saab spends most of his free time in the water. Swimming is his healthy obsession, and he is always up for a workout challenge.
