Naomi Black is a fully qualified psychotherapist and accredited member of the Irish Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapists. Naomi has trained as an Humanistic Integrative psychotherapist meaning that Naomi works from a flexible perspective, informed by what may be useful and helpful to the individual. These approaches include C.B.T, Psychodynamic and body oriented approaches.
Naomi believes that the ability to heal is already within the individual and that with the help of a supportive and non-judgemental environment, the individual can access these resources. Naomi also believes that the mind and body are closely connected and that often the body may communicate more about the state of mind than it is credited with.
Naomi Black offers a safe and confidential space, where she will listen and try to understand the experiences of the client. Naomi will work in alliance with the client to explore the thoughts and feelings that are expressed in the space and seek to discover new ways to function and thrive in the world when past beliefs and behaviours cease to work.
Naomi Black experiences working with clients who have needed assistance with many different issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loss/bereavement, and stress.
