Vilma Matuleviciute is a qualified and registered Herbalist, Naturopath and Craniosacral Therapist, working in clinical practice for over 16 years. With a background in biochemistry, Vilma went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Western Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster, London.
Vilma has studied Craniosacral therapy (CST) with the Upledger Institute, including paediatrics, and trained with Body Intelligence in Biodynamic CST approach, and combines both modalities in her practice.
Having spent 12 years as Herbal Medicine Course & Clinical Director, and as a senior lecturer at the CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine), Vilma lectures at a number of Herbal medicine schools. She regularly gives public talks on herbal medicine and naturopathy and manages a monthly low-cost student clinic for the public.
Vilma Matuleviciute is President of the Irish Register of Herbalists (IRH) and the vice-Chair of FICTA (Federation of Irish Complementary Therapy Associations).
Vilma is passionate about natural medicine, herbs and nutrition, and in her practice she combines traditional herbal knowledge with the latest scientific research. By setting up naturopathic and herbal treatment protocols to address nutritional deficiencies, food allergies and sensitivities, detoxification issues or immune problems, Vilma supports anyone wishing to recover from a chronic debilitating illness or just needing an acute herbal remedy.
Vilma uses a combination of herbs, nutrition and CST to counter long lasting effects of stress or trauma on mental, emotional and physical health, which often lead to an imbalance in digestive, endocrine, nervous or immune systems.
